As
his case files grew and grew, Harmon decided to write a book about his
experiences. "Licence To Peep" chronicles his days as a top-notch
police officer and private eye. He says the encounters he's had both as
a police detective and private investigator have strengthened his faith
in God. "I should have been dead ages ago, but with the protection
of God Almightly, I am alive today. A cat may have nine lives, but I think
I have more." And he insists his numerous accolades haven't changed
him one bit. " Give me all the money in the world, give me a thousand
medals, I'll still be the same Harmon."

That
means keeping to a gruelling schedule, just like the old days. "
A private eye's life has "no days, no nights, no Sundays, no public
holidays", Harmon said dismally. "
I am married to my job and I always try to deliver more than I promise.
Being a private
investigator certainly encompasses commitment, dedication, integrity,
compassion; and there are undoubtedly enormous sacrifices involved."
What
more can we expect from this private eye? One can only salute the guy
who once was at the police frontline, and played a key role mopping up
Singapore's mobsters,
and who continues to inspire with his wit and talent, as he turns his
sights towards wayward husbands and corporate crime.
